Two souls meet on a misty night in the south of memory and find themselves taken by the other, hunger for a hunger reflected from root to rot. In a city that glitters like broken glass, some of the sweetest love stories live between the lines.
This is a facsimile of a book of hours recovered from the library of the Remington Estate. The original appears to have been a shared possession between Lord Nicholas Remington and Lady Esme Remington (née Malric), and is notable for featuring details from their personal lives within the liturgical text.
Also featured in this exhibition is a non-interactive collection of accounts and art with the Remingtons and their marriage as muses. It is available to view here.
