Yes, exactly what KA Tan said! And also, when the same lines appear across both poems, in roughly the same placement, the congruence is really lovely. There's also an orderliness to the repetition, kind of like a (musical) fugue. In fact, the L and R in the Twine file made me think of hands playing a piano. Really beautiful!
Thank you, Dawn!! The potential for randomness with this one was a lot of fun to set up behind the hood and I'm so glad you got some of that coincidental congruence in your readings. And yes, that's exactly what I had in mind with the L and R! Hands for playing and writing, feet for walking...the body in poetry. Thank you again for reading and the lovely feedback!

this is so so beautiful. the poem is so moving in every iteration which is a real accomplishment!
Thank you Kate! That means a lot, and I'm very glad the emotional range of the poem retained its poignancy through all its readings!

This was incredible! I loved the poems somehow never quite touching, the longing conveyed through shape and form as well as in text.
Thank you so much, KA! The shape work in this one was a real pleasure to play with, so I'm really glad you enjoyed it too.
